Quick guide for critical emergencies

What to do if the charging cable (AC or DC) won't release.
  • Unlock the vehicle several times with the smart key button.
  • The connector must be removed within 30 seconds of unlocking, or the port will lock again.
  • If it still doesn't work, DO NOT pull forcefully. Use the manual emergency release.
  • Open the hood. Find the emergency release latch (ring or lever) near the charge port in the engine compartment.
  • Pull the latch to manually unlock the charging connector.

How to start the car if the key battery is dead.
  • If the key has no battery, the car won't detect it.
  • Use the mechanical key (hidden inside the smart key) to open the driver's door.
  • To start, hold the smart key (logo side) near the "low power sign" (NFC area on center console, below the screen).
  • While holding the key there, press the brake pedal and push the START/STOP button.

How to "wake up" the car with a jump start.
  • If the 12V battery is dead, the car won't "wake up" even if the main battery is at 100%.
  • Use a 12V power source (another car or a jump starter).
  • Open the hood. Locate the Power Distribution Box (PDB).
  • Connect the red clamp (+) to the **Positive jump start terminal** (marked on the PDB).
  • Connect the black clamp (-) to **unpainted metal** on the engine block or chassis (auxiliary negative terminal).
  • Never try to jump start ANOTHER vehicle with your Atto 3.

How to use the tire repair kit (sealant and compressor).
  • Stop the vehicle in a safe, flat location. Engage the EPB (parking brake) and turn on hazard lights.
  • Locate the tire repair kit (sealant and compressor) in the trunk.
  • The sealant ONLY works for punctures in the tread less than 6 mm. Do not repair sidewall cuts.
  • Connect the compressor to the car's 12V outlet and start the vehicle.
  • Introduce the sealant into the tire through the inflator hose, along with air.
  • DO NOT inflate for more than 10 minutes straight.
  • If the pressure doesn't reach 1.8 bar (180 kPa) in 10 minutes, the damage is too large. Call a tow truck.
  • If pressure is reached, drive immediately (max 10 km at less than 80 km/h) to distribute the sealant.
  • Stop again, check pressure and go to the nearest shop to replace the tire.

The correct method (and prohibited ones) for towing the Atto 3.
  • MANDATORY METHOD: FLATBED TOW TRUCK! All four wheels must be on the platform.
  • NEVER tow the car with only two wheels (front or rear) on the ground. This will cause severe damage to high-voltage components and transmission.
  • Must not be towed by another vehicle using only ropes or chains.
  • The front tow hook is in the tool kit in the trunk. The cover is on the front bumper.

Critical procedure in case of vehicle fire.
  • RE-IGNITION RISK! The battery can reignite even after being extinguished.
  • If the fire is large, move away and inform firefighters that it's an electric vehicle with high-voltage battery.
  • DO NOT use incorrect extinguishers. The rescue manual recommends EXTINGUISHING FIRE WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF WATER to cool the battery.
