Almost all ultra-fast charging networks allow you to subscribe to monthly plans with no lock-in contract. If you are taking a vacation trip or long getaway, activate the subscription the day before leaving and cancel renewal immediately in their mobile app.

The plan remains active for the full 30 paid calendar days, allowing you to enjoy discounted rates on both the outbound and return journeys. Because automatic renewal is cancelled, no extra month will be billed when you return home.

For the BYD Atto 3, most subscriptions break even after just 38 to 80 kWh of fast charging, which equals just one or two highway stops. Every kilowatt-hour charged beyond that threshold is direct net savings in your pocket.
