Electricity Rate Optimizer

Calculations are based on the official methodology of the Spanish electricity market: • Power Term: It is prorated monthly based on the contracted kW in Peak and Valley and the days of the year. • Taxes: The Electricity Tax (5.113%) and the standard VAT (21%) are applied to the total energy, power, and meter rental (0.81€/month). • PVPC (Voluntary Price for Small Consumers): It corresponds to the regulated market. The average price per hour is calculated in each period in the last 48 hours loaded into the system. • Vehicle Charging: It is assumed that the electric vehicle consumes the required monthly kWh uniformly. According to the chosen charging profile, it is distributed in the early morning hours (P3 promotional), general Valley period (P3), or in a distributed manner.
