Set up quick access widgets on your mobile screen or share vehicle access with your family.

Setup on Apple iOS
  • 1 Press and hold the home screen until the apps begin to jiggle.
  • 2 Tap the '+' button in the upper left corner.
  • 3 Search for 'BYD App' in the applications list.
  • 4 Choose the widget size (Simple or Full) and tap 'Add Widget'.
Setup on Google Android
  • 1 Press and hold an empty space on the home screen.
  • 2 Select 'Widgets' or 'Add gadgets'.
  • 3 Scroll down to the 'BYD App' section and expand its options.
  • 4 Drag the desired widget to your screen and drop it.
How to authorize a secondary driver

Open the BYD App menu and select 'My Account' > 'Driver Management'.

  • 1 Open the BYD App menu and select 'My Account' > 'Driver Management'.
  • 2 Enter the email address of the person you want to authorize (they must have an active BYD account).
  • 3 Select which permissions you want to grant (e.g. only view location, climate control, or full locking access).
  • 4 The other person will receive an invitation in their mobile app and can start controlling the car.
