Audit your public charging receipts, detect cable and station losses, idle fee penalties, and calculate the true net cost per kWh delivered to your battery.
Enter the details from your charging operator app or invoice.
Charging losses and billed charges are well within normal operating margins.
| At home (Off-peak tariff 0.08 €/kWh) | 2.90 € |
| At home (Flat tariff 0.14 €/kWh) | 5.08 € |
| Eco public network (0.40 €/kWh) | 14.52 € |
| Ultra-fast premium network (0.65 €/kWh) | 23.60 € |
If you detected abusive losses or incorrect idle charges, use this formal draft to reach customer support:
During a charge session, losses occur in cable resistance, battery thermal management and station liquid cooling in DC fast charging. Normal DC losses range between 5% and 12%. If losses exceed 18-20%, there may be a MID meter calibration defect or thermal degradation in the charger.
Many operators charge idle fees from €0.20/min to €0.50/min after a grace period (typically 5 to 15 minutes after completion). If your car reaches 100% and stays plugged in for 30 minutes, idle fees can double the session cost.
Do not rely solely on the advertised tariff (e.g. 0.45 €/kWh). Your real cost equals total invoice amount divided by usable kWh gained: True Price = Total Billed / Useful Battery kWh.
