Long Trip Preparation

Ensure everything is ready before hitting the road with your Atto 3.

Check recommended and alternative charging stops in case one fails.
Electromaps, Tesla, Ionity, Zunder, etc. Check that associated credit cards are not expired.
If staying overnight, call to confirm the charger is operational and reserved for you.
Headwinds and extreme cold drastically reduce range. Use the 'Range Lifesaver' if needed.

Use the 'Pressure Calculator' to adjust it based on vehicle load and temperature.
Essential for long trips, especially in winter with road salt.
Ensure they clean well in case of heavy rain during the route.
Check for pending OTAs that might improve navigation or thermal management.

Charge to 100% the night before to balance cells and leave with maximum real range.
Remember to set the limit to 100% in the car's menu for the trip.
Don't forget the Mennekes cable for public chargers and Schuko for emergencies at hotels/rural houses.
Useful if camping or if you want to use electrical appliances during breaks.

Triangles/V-16, accessible vests, and first aid kit.
Check that the sealant liquid is not expired and the compressor works.
Insurance, technical sheet, driver's license, and BYD assistance numbers.
Carrying the spare NFC card in your wallet can save you if the remote battery or app fails.

Check terrace closures, tilt-and-turn windows, and lock the main door.
Disconnect standby devices, coffee maker, toaster, and turn off all lights.
Close the main water and gas valves to prevent leaks during your absence.
Activate the security system and check that cameras are accessible from your mobile.
